Common Questions
Each bale covers about 40 square feet. Measure the length and width of your beds, multiply to get square footage, then divide by 40. For example, a 20 ft x 10 ft bed is 200 sq ft and needs about 5 bales. Use the calculator above for a quick estimate.
Pickup means you come to our lot and load your bales. Delivery means we bring the bales to your property and drop them in your driveway. Delivery + Installation means we bring them, spread them evenly in your beds, and clean up when we're done.
We use volume pricing — the more bales you order, the lower the per-bale price. Pickup starts at $5.75/bale (1-19 bales) and drops to $4.89/bale at 150+. Delivery adds $1/bale and installation adds $3/bale + tax on top of the base price.
Longleaf pine straw has the longest needles, which means it stays in place better, interlocks more tightly, and lasts 7 to 9 months. It also has a richer color and more uniform appearance compared to slash or loblolly pine straw.
