Pine Straw Fundraiser

Premium longleaf pine straw from StrawBox — hand-raked and hand-baled. Each bale covers approximately 40 sq ft.

A small touch-up typically uses 15–20 bales, an average yard 40–60 bales, and a large yard or full re-straw can require 80–150+. Each bale covers about 40 sq ft. You can use the calculator above, or simply start with 50 bales.

Orders are due by Wednesday, March 18, by the end of the day. We need final counts to schedule trailer delivery, so orders cannot be accepted after this date.

Yes! Delivery is limited and available by request with an additional minimum $100 tax-deductible donation. Click Inquire About Delivery to submit your request, and we’ll follow up to confirm based on capacity.

Pick up your order at Trinity Anglican Church anytime between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 22. Show your confirmation email or text, and our Youth Volunteers will load your order for you.

Your order confirmation email or text (a phone version works perfectly). Pull up to the pickup area, show it to our volunteers, and they’ll load your bales. If you can’t find your confirmation, no worries — we’ll be able to look up your name and order.

Yes — under Direct Your Support (Optional), you can choose a specific student’s trip. If left blank, your donation will go to the general fund, which helps make the 2026 Trinity Youth Colorado Trip possible for all students.

You have several options. Pay by card online when you place your order, or pay by card, cash, or check on pickup day (Sunday, March 22). If paying at pickup, just select that option during checkout.

Yes — cash and checks are accepted on pickup day. Checks should be made out to Trinity Anglican Church. Card payments can be made online in advance or on pickup day.

Absolutely. Add a note at checkout with their name and we’ll have it ready. They’ll just need to show the confirmation email or text at pickup.

Contact us before the March 18 deadline and we’ll adjust your order. After the deadline, changes cannot be guaranteed since we order based on final counts.

Long leaf pine straw typically lasts 12–18 months depending on weather, foot traffic, and slope. Most homeowners re-straw once a year.

Yes! Pine straw is easy to spread. Break open the bale, fluff it out, and lay it 2–3 inches thick. One person can cover an average yard in a couple of hours.
